Drinks and Appies plus Fireworks

July 24th. We gathered at Patricia and Colin's for Drinks and Appies. We enjoyed a fabulous light show of Fireworks and an almost full moon. The Fireworks were part of Nanaimo's Marine Festival and preceded the World Famous Bathtub Races on Sunday the 25th.The Appies were scrumptious and everyone ate maybe just a wee bit too much!!!

Newcastle Island Excursion July 14

Twenty three of us took the short ferry ride to Newcastle Island and spent the day walking the trails and exploring. We had a great picnic lunch at Giovando's point and lookout.
